National Parks Travelers Club - Alaska Trip Reports

Many members of the National Parks Travelers Club (NTPC) have the goal of visiting all the US National Park Units including the difficult to access 16 Fly-In sites in Alaska. Some trip reports of NTPC members are available to read at the NPTC web site.

The 16 US National Park Service Fly-In units

While most of the current 401 United States National Park Service units are accessible by car, or commercial plane and boat there are 16 NPS units in Alaska where you must charter a bush plane to actually visit the park unit. This is a guide on how to do that.
